The Auburn Community Development Network (ACDN) has been working with young people from diverse African backgrounds living in Western Sydney, training them in theatre and performance since the beginningof 2008.
In 2009 young people will come together to develop a dynamic piece of theatre based on their experiences of being recent arrivals. Through a series of creative development workshops, the participants shared their ideas to create a new theatrical work that celebrates their unique stories of resilience, set against the experience of migration to Australia.
This project is a partnership with ACDN and PYT.
