Telling Stories & Telling it like it is a discussion about the diversity of creative culture in Sydney featuring presentations and a panel discussion by Sydney and Western Sydney storytellers including:

Serhat Caradee – film director whose film, Cedar Boys, about Western Sydney will be presented at this year’s Sydney Film Festival.
Paula Abood – Race Around the City
Michaela Perske – documentary maker (Footy Chicks, Inspiring Teachers)
Alicia Talbot – Urban Theatre Projects
Antoinette Chiha – Hack, Triple J TV
Peter Gawler – writer, co-creator and producer of Underbelly series three

Discussion will be followed by a screening of Western Sydney’s finest short films by young people, curated by PYT’s ShortCuts Film Festival and the Information and Cultural Exchange.
