Stop motion animation is the art of bringing to life clay or silicone puppets by capturing their movements frame by frame, and putting the images together to tell a story on screen. Films like Chicken Run, Wallace and Gromit, Harvey Crumpet and Coraline have used this technique. The workshops will be a fun holiday activity, and give all kids involved the chance to develop their skills in story telling and craft, make their own puppets, meet new friends and build confidence. Each participant will also receive a copy of their animation on DVD.
